Indra has introduced NEXUS, a new tactical fighter simulator designed to support training across a wide range of maneuvers and tactical operations. The system features an immersive visual cave and is powered by a synthetic environment capable of generating complex, realistic scenarios tailored to operational needs.

NEXUS allows connectivity with other simulators for joint exercises and includes functions for flight procedures, emergency response, and system failure training. The simulator incorporates a real-time instructor station and an artificial intelligence-assisted mission planner, which enables users to create advanced tactical scenarios using natural language commands.

The system includes flight controls, a touchscreen with cockpit instrumentation, and a semi-dome visual display with three channels for a high degree of immersion. Both hardware and software were developed in-house by Indra.

Indra has delivered over 200 simulators to more than 50 customers in 23 countries. It has extensive experience in both military and civil simulation, including platforms like the Eurofighter, A400M, and NH90, and has recently completed a CH-47F Chinook simulator for the Army.
