Heads of Training

Training leaders from airlines, flight training organizations, and industry provide the subject matter expertise needed to define the future of airline and aviation training. Changes in workforce demographics and learning styles, alongside continued and dramatic global fleet growth, necessitate a new approach. Fortunately, technologies now available and soon to come online can enable new training regimes capable of delivering a better-qualified workforce and safer operations.

Halldale’s Heads of Training (HoT) meetings are designed to facilitate discussion, collaboration, and the definition of best practices to ensure understanding across the global training community in support of regulators and NGOs. Held throughout the year at our major conferences and exhibitions, the HoT meetings focus on the most critical topics facing the aviation training community, based on subject matter expert-led roundtable discussions, workshops, and whitepapers. These meetings are conducted in a non-commercial, confidential, closed-door environment, with overview points and outcomes shared with the wider industry once approved. An exclusive report is offered to all HoT attendees.

The inaugural HoT meeting was held at our 2010 European event and is now a regular feature at annual APATS, EATS, and WATS events, with a new mid-year HoT summit  that will set the agenda for the following year.
