Netizen Corporation (Netizen) was awarded an $845,000contract with the U.S. Army supporting the Project Manager Training Devices (PMTRADE) organization in Orlando, Florida. The work under the contract, whichbegan on May 31st, includes Cyber Security Engineering support for Departmentof Defense (DoD) virtual training and simulation systems in Orlando and otherlocations across the United States and around the world.

Netizen is working to ensure that military informationtechnology (IT) infrastructure for virtual training and simulation platforms issecure and protected from a variety of cyber threats while also compliant withthe National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk ManagementFramework (RMF), the Federal Information Management Security Act (FISMA), andother requirements. This is accomplished by leveraging uniquely skilled Netizenstaff members that possess high levels of experience, education, andcertification to provide cyber security engineering support for training andsimulation products that are being built, upgraded, accredited or deployed.This new contract is a follow-on to work that Netizen has been performing overthe last two years.
