Engineering & Computer Simulations, Inc. (ECS) has been awarded a follow-on task order on the Enterprise Training Services Contract (ETSC) multi-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, which was originally awarded in 2018. This $2.4 billion contract supports performance through 2025, and provides for education, training, and knowledge-based services in support of the U.S. Army and its Security Cooperation mission. Richard A. Madrid, Jr., ECS Vice President of Global Services and ETSC Program Manager, will lead this task order.

Awarded by Army Contracting Command-Orlando (ACC-O) for the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI), the task order, U.S. ARMY NORTH (USARNORTH) Homeland Defense (HD), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), & Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise (CRE), provides support to training and training events, assistance in the writing of scenarios, and the execution of USARNORTH training events. USARNORTH G-3/7 Training Division is the Office of Primary Responsibility for planning and executing joint training, exercise, and individual instruction programs to ensure USARNORTH and their subordinate components are prepared to accomplish their missions to deter, prevent, and defeat threat and aggression within their respective Area of Operations and Area of Responsibility. G-3/7 Training Division is responsible for the training and execution of HD and DSCA exercises, which includes joint confirmation exercises for CBRN General Officer level commands. The mission of this support effort is to provide training development, planning and coordination, exercise control and exercise observations and evaluations; and support for After Action Review assessment of HD, DSCA, and CRE exercises and related training events.

Madrid says: “ETSC task orders support our soldiers and allow them to train while serving anywhere throughout the world. It is rewarding to provide this customized training for our military service members in order to strengthen their operational skills so that they can successfully perform their missions.”
