CAE and Saab have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on training and simulation solutions for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP). The agreement aims to support the Royal Canadian Navy by enhancing the mission and operational readiness of future submarine crews.

Through this MoU, the two companies will explore opportunities to deliver advanced training technologies tailored to Canada’s next-generation submarines. The collaboration focuses on ensuring that naval personnel are fully prepared to operate and maintain the new fleet using simulation-based tools.

The companies plan to align their efforts with Canada’s defence modernization goals, reinforcing preparedness and performance across the submarine domain.
