Aerosim Technologies have signed a contract with Envoy Air to deliver one E175 virtual procedure trainer (VPT) and seven desktop E175 virtual flight deck (VFD) stations.
The VPT also contains a fully simulated flight deck and will be delivered with simulated aircraft hardware to include backdriven thrust levers, a mode control panel, cursor control devices and multipurpose display control units to heighten the interface with the pilot during training. The VFD is a desktop training solution which provides a fully simulated flight deck and allows for in-depth training on aircraft systems. These training solutions will be incorporated into the Envoy flight training curriculum for the E175.
Envoy is adding the Aerosim E175 training solutions to the Aerosim E145 Flight Management Systems Trainer (FMST) that is already in use within their flight training program.
