Aviation training specialist Flyco Training Solutions Group has struck an agreement to supply e-learning courseware to Norlandair Iceland.

Flyco's LMS will enable Norlandair's pilots to access study material from a portfolio of around 300 courses, at any time, on any device, even when offline. The system will automatically monitor user certificate expiry dates.

"E-learning is becoming more and more important in the aviation training industry today, and many companies are now looking at alternative learning management systems which can offer customisation, mobility and flexibility rather than generic material," said Mr. Anil Yildirim, managing director, UK. "This is one of the main reasons why many airlines today choose Flyco systems and courseware over the others."

Norlandair's Icelandic fleet consists of three de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft, one Beechcraft B200 King Air, ad one GippsAero GA8 Airvan.
