Pelesys has released its newest Special Operations course titled Stabilized Approach/Low Energy Awareness.

This new Stabilized Approach/Low Energy Awareness course is designed for flight crews requiring initial and recurrent training. The course outlines the concepts and safety benefits of stabilized approaches, as well as un-stabilized approaches and how to prevent them. Topics also include the planning of, and hazards associated with, go-arounds once the aircraft has entered a low energy state.

Stablized Approach/Low Energy Awareness is just one of over 30 Special Operations Courses offered from Pelesys' extensive Special Operations courseware library. The company has also released updated versions of other courseware titles, including Dangerous Goods, Security, Windshear, Performance Based Navigation (PBN), Safety Management System( SMS), and Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM). Each course is developed to comply with ICAO, EASA, FAA, Transport Canada, as well as other regulatory authorities.
