CAE announced at Halldale Media’s 2017 Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) event in Singapore that it has expanded its agreement with Air Niugini to support the airline's Fokker F100 pilot training needs in the region.
Pilots began training in the second half of 2017 and CAE instructors are currently delivering their F100 type-rating training at the CAE Perth Training Centre in Australia.
“We are delighted to build on our relationship with CAE and to entrust the world-leader in commercial aviation training with our Fokker F100 pilot training,” commented Captain Samiu Taufa, Executive Manager of Flight Operations at Air Niugini. "We are confident that CAE instructors will play a fundamental role in ensuring our crew receive an outstanding training experience."
Air Niugini has been a CAE customer since 2016.
