Spatial-Door-Trainer

Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) has ordered a Boeing 787 door trainer, including a virtual slide trainer, from Spatial.

The device, which is due to enter service during the first quarter of 2018, is the third GAA has ordered from the company following the delivery of cabin emergency evacuation trainers for Airbus and Embraer aircraft.

GAA’s CEO, Captain Dhaffer Al Abbasi, stated, “As part of our continuing growth, we are looking forward to assembling the B787 door trainer in our facility and expanding our cabin crew training by offering the latest aircraft in operation to the crew.”

Henry Robertson, Managing Director at Spatial, commented, “This order, five and a half years after installing our first device for GAA, is another example of the continuing trust our client base places in us.”

Spatial also recently signed a contract to provide easyJet with over wing exit trainers for Airbus A321 aircraft.
