Alsim-AL250-simulator

Alsim has sold two AL250 FNPT II simulators to Astonfly, a flight training school located in Toussus-le-Noble, near Paris, France, which are due to be delivered early this year.

Astonfly trains more than 100 pilots per year (both private and professional), representing about 11,000 flight hours, using a fleet of eight Cessna 172s, five DA-42s, ten Cirrus SR-22s and three flight simulators.

On the purchase of the AL250s, Astonfly’s President Charles Clair commented, “This device fits our needs exactly for glass cockpit training in our Integrated Airline Pilot Course.”

The EASA & FAA certified AL250 simulator was developed by Alsim in 2016 to address initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP re-configurable. It offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model.

18 of the type have already been sold and are now in operation, with previous companies purchasing AL250 simulators including Orient Flight School and Cirrus Aviation.
