Pelesys has developed and put in place a legal framework and the appropriate technology, processes and documentation to help customers comply with the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force on 25 May 2018.
The company claims the new regulation is the most significant reform to data protection laws in 20 years, with a global impact on all organisations processing the data of EU subjects. According to Pelesys, every GDPR compliance strategy needs to be adequately addressed, including security, archiving, control, tracking and reporting challenges of the applications.
Allan Greene, Senior VP at Pelesys, commented, “We have started rolling out our new GDPR framework to all our customers based in the EU. Since data protection is important to all our customers, our new GDPR framework will become our new standard for all existing and new customers globally.”
In January 2018, Pelesys became 'a CAE company.'
