VENYO’s high-fidelity B737NG Fixed Base Simulator (FBS) received FTD Level 5 certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the highest level for a training device without motion. VENYO thinks the FBS simulator will help the pilot shortage by providing a cost-effective simulator for training.

Chinese crews began using the simulator this month at launch partner SIMAERO’s training campus in Charles De Gaulle Airport, Paris. It is the first VENYO simulator to receive CAAC approval in addition to EASA FTD Level 2 certification.
