FlightSafety-Dassault-Falcon-2000LXS-900LX-Simulator-e1539634205160

FlightSafety International is adding new simulators and course offerings at its Teterboro Learning Center in New Jersey. The company is building a new Dassault Falcon 2000LXS and Falcon 900LX interchangeable simulator it will install at the Teterboro Learning Center, and will also install an interchangeable King Air 350 simulator to offer training for that aircraft.

Training using the new FlightSafety FS1000 Dassault Falcon 2000LXS and Falcon 900LX interchangeable simulator is scheduled to begin in August 2019 following Level D qualification by the FAA and EASA. Approval by other regulatory authorities will be completed according to Customer needs.

“We are expanding the capabilities offered at our Teterboro Center to meet the changing and growing needs of our Customers,” said Steve Gross, Senior Vice President, Commercial. “The Falcon 2000LXS and Falcon 900LX training program will include a wide variety of initial, recurrent, differences and update training for pilots, maintenance technicians and flight attendants.”

The simulator will feature the Dassault FalconEye Combined Vision System HUD along with FlightSafety’s  CrewView collimated glass mirror display and VITAL 1100 visual system. The company says CrewView provides far superior distortion-free optical performance with greater clarity, sharpness, and brightness. The glass technology provides a true spherical shape for exact geometry across the entire viewing area.

Training for the King Air 350 aircraft is scheduled to start in April, 2019 following FAA Level D qualification of the simulator that is currently under construction. The simulator is expected to be qualified by Transport Canada and the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil later in 2019.

The simulator will be equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion and Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics systems. It will also be equipped with FlightSafety’s VITAL 1100 Visual System and electric motion and control loading technology.

Training for King Air aircraft is currently available from FlightSafety using 12 full flight simulators at Learning Centers in Atlanta, Georgia; LaGuardia airport in New York; Long Beach, California; Wichita, Kansas; and at the Farnborough airport in the United Kingdom.
