Norwegian Competence Center Helicopter (NCCH), working with Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH (RST) and Norwegian Air Ambulance AS (NLA - Norsk Luftambulanse), opened its new Next-Generation Training Center in Stavanger, Norway that includes an Airbus H145 Level D Full-Flight Simulator to provide training for NLA pilots and crew members.

Establishing an Airbus H145 Level D Full-Flight Simulator (FFS) is one of the key measures to increase the operational safety of the air ambulance service in Norway, according to the NLA.

During the inauguration of the center, two military flight crews demonstrated a 2.5-hour networked simulation mission between RST´s Level D H145 FFSs located at the ADAC HEMS Academy in Bonn/Hangelar, Germany and at the NCCH Training Center, which allowed the teams to fly multi-ship scenarios, use their Night-Vision Goggles and flight-gear and exchange video and audio communication.
