Alsim sold a third AL250 Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPT) II simulator to flight training school Astonfly in Toussus-le-Noble, France. The simulator will be delivered at the beginning of 2019 making it the third AL250 FNPT II delivered to the school in less than 12 months.

Alsim delevoped the AL250 in 2016 in response, they say, to strong market demands. It is European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified; compact; addresses initial phase training needs for Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Instrument-Rating on Multi-Engine aircraft (IR/ME) and is Single-engine Piston and Multi-engine Piston (SEP/MEP) re-configurable. It offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model.

Astonfly plans on welcoming 120 students per-year in the near future and will increase its fleet with 10 single-engine and three Diamond DA42 aircraft in the next few months.
