Helicentre Aviation Academy doubled its pilot scholarship award by allocating an additional £75,000 in part-funded training scholarship awards for its 2018 Professional Helicopter Pilot Scholarship Program. Helicentre has invested over £500,000 into the annual scholarships in the last five years, which are awarded to pilots training at Helicentre to help meet the company’s ongoing requirement for Flight Instructors and Line Pilots.

The awards give stand-out individuals full or part-funding for a professional license with immediate work opportunities and the chance to gain valuable experience. Helicenter says the program provides life-changing career opportunities to students, helping them progress quickly into industry roles such as Utility and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.

The 2018 selection process is already underway, and the 25 newly qualified private pilot applicants will have a chance to secure a share of £75,000 in addition to competing for a fully-funded CPL(H) Scholarship worth £55,000 and a Flight Instructor Scholarship worth £20,000. The £75,000 part-funded awards will be allocated as one £10,000 scholarship, two £7,500 scholarships and ten £5,000 scholarships.

To apply to the Helicentre Aviation 2019 Professional Helicopter Pilot Scholarship Program, candidates must submit an application by December 31, 2018. Details are available at http://www.helicopterscholarships.com.
