Tulmar Safety Systems Inc. (Tulmar) has launched two new cabin crew training products. They include a classroom Portable Girt Trainer and an Air Liquide-Style training PBE.
The Portable Girt Trainer’s design and concept will providethe user with the realistic physical motion and pull force required to “pull toinflate” and “pull to detach” an evacuation slide during an emergencyevacuation.
The Air Liquide-Style PBE was designed to provide a safe andrealistic training experience based on the use of this type of PBE by airlines.It is constructed using materials that are durable and easy to clean after use.Key components, such as the neck seal, are replaceable to ensure long servicelife and minimal disruption in training.
“We are committed to the cabin crew training market and wecreated these products following months of collaborative work and feedback fromairlines and independent training centers. We are also currently testing themarket for other new products which we plan to introduce in the coming months,”said Patrick Phillips, vice president of Business Development at Tulmar.
