EGYPTAIR hasselected FlightSafety International to design and manufacture a full flightsimulator for the Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The simulator will be installed atthe EGYPTAIR Training Academy headquarters located at Cairo InternationalAirport.

Ahmed Adel, chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company. “Thisstep is in line with the EGYPTAIR fleet modernization strategy, whichnecessities an upgrade of EGYPTAIR Training Academy simulation devices byinstalling new types of simulators that could serve well with EGYPTAIR’s newfleet.”
Thisis the first simulator FlightSafety has built for the Airbus A220-300. Theadvanced technology systems incorporated into the simulator are designed toenhance performance and reliability and lower life-cycle costs compared toprevious-generation devices. They include FlightSafety’s 60-inch electriccontrol loading and cueing technology, and a new multi-function InstructorOperating Station that features an intuitive interface, scalable graphics, andlarge multi-touch displays.
