The DVI Group is changing the way pilots across the US aretrained. At this week's 22nd annual World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) inOrlando, Florida, The DVI Group is exhibiting and demoing its eBrief Project.The eBrief Project is an approach to pilot training which harnesses the powerof video to respond to the changing backgrounds and learning preferences oftoday's pilots. To date, The DVI Group has produced 220 videos. Each video moduleis 10-20 minutes in length and is dedicated to the most commonly evaluatedprocedures and maneuvers across nine fleets of aircraft.
In 2017 The DVI Group was asked to enhance and standardize apartner's pilot/training curriculum and was challenged to rethink the waytraining was executed. Founder and CEO of The DVI Group, Matthew Lopes,comments: "Once we had the structure of the training videos built, weturned our focus to the immensely important details that had to be meticulouslycaptured and conveyed in these training modules.
