Skyborne Airline Academy is launching a Sponsored FlightInstructor Programme to foster the next generation of airline pilot instructorsin Spain.
Over six weeks, participants will complete 35 flying hoursand 130 hours of theory training. Those who successfully complete the programmewill go on to work as Single Engine Flight Instructors with Skyborne. Positionsare available at Castellón Airport, Skyborne’s fair-weather training baselocated on the Mediterranean coast.
Ian Cooper, Chief Operating Officer, Skyborne, says: “Weknow that flight instructors are the backbone of the aviation industry,especially as the global demand for pilots continues to rise. That’s why we arelaunching this scheme to find the very best teaching talent for our academy,while giving newly qualified pilots the opportunity to build their flying hoursbefore they go on to fly or teach with the world’s leading airlines.
“The value of the training included in this sponsoredprogramme is worth more than £10,000 and, subject to satisfactory performance,comes with the added value of a full-time position with Skyborne at the end ofthe six-week training period.”
Upon successful competition of the Sponsored FlightInstructor Programme, Skyborne will offer a competitive salary and bonuspackage, including generous annual leave allowance, pension, bonus scheme andhealth insurance.
In order to apply, candidates must hold a current firstseries EASA Commercial Pilot Licence, including Instrument Rating and a Class 1Medical certificate. They must also have a minimum 80 percent or higher passrate from their ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Examination.
The deadline for applications for the first SkyborneSponsored Flight Instructor Programme is Friday 14th June.
