FlightSafety International announced that Daniel Greenhillhas joined FlightSafety Unmanned Systems Training as director of Sales.
Greenhill began his career withFlightSafety in 2004 and has held a number of positions with increasingresponsibility since then. They include product marketing manager, PiperCheyenne I, II and IIXL flight instructor, assistant director of Training, directorof Training, center manager, director of Business Development, director ofInstructor Recruiting, and most recently director of Sales for Gulfstreamtraining programs.
He earned an associate degree inBusiness Management from Triton College, a Bachelor of Science degree inMarketing from Northeastern Illinois University, and a master’s degree inPeople and Project Management from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He also received aCertificate of Business Management in International Business from WolfsonCollege in the United Kingdom. Greenhill is an instrument rated commercialpilot with Commercial Single Engine and Multi Instrument ratings, is a certifiedflight instructor, and holds a Remote Part 107 Pilot certificate.
FlightSafety’s Unmanned SystemsTraining program is designed to help commercial operators achieve the highestlevels of safety and proficiency. The training is offered in the Las Vegas areaand at several FlightSafety Learning Centers in the United States. UnmannedAircraft Systems practical flight training is delivered in conjunction withPraxis Aerospace Concepts at the FlightSafety Las Vegas UAS Learning Center, whichhas operations in Henderson and at Searchlight Airfield.
FlightSafety also offers several e-learningcourses including a 107 Written Test Preparation course, Resource Managementfor UAS Operations, Fatigue Management for UAS Operations, Safety ManagementSystem (SMS) for UAS Operations, and a newly specialized Flight Risk AssessmentTool, which is available through the FlightSafety FlightBag App.
