ACS Flight Training have become the first commercial flight training school in Europe to offer the Bose A20 headset as standard issued equipment on the Airline Transport Pilot Licence Course.

The Bose A20 headset has been designed to cancel noise while maximising user comfort.  It will give students 30% greater noise reduction than conventional aviation headsets, the companies said in a joint statement.

The headset weighs 340g and comes with sheepskin cushions and minimal clamping force. Bose said it allowed the student to focus on what matters - flying.

"No other headset offers this unique combination of features and benefits," said Patrick Schutterop, Business Manager for Bose Aviation Europe.

ACS Flight Training has been training pilots since 2007. Based in Perth, it is the leading Commercial Flight Training Organisation in Scotland.

"Communication and comfort is a very important factor for our students," said Craig McDonald, ACS Aviation director.

"Becoming the first commercial training school in Europe to offer the Bose A20 headset as standard issued equipment on our Airline Pilot Training course also demonstrates our desire and determination to continue to deliver the very best innovation to our students."
