ACS Flight Training are launching a new 2020 flying scholarship to provide opportunities for those who might not have the resources to gain flying experience.

The two winners will receive 10 hours of training towards a Private Pilots Licence and 12 months membership with ACS.

The growing demand for airline pilots has driven the creation of the 2020 flying scholarship, ACS said. Supported by Bose Aviation, the winners will also receive a Bose A20 aviation headset.

"We are keen to encourage young people to not only become involved in the world of aviation but also reach their full potential," said Craig McDonald, Director of ACS Aviation.

The scholarship allows students to progress onto a variety of professional roles within the industry, such as commercial airline pilot.

Those interested in applying need to create a 30 second video introducing a new aviation product or idea. Applicants should upload their videos to Facebook or Instagram and include @acsflighttraining and #acspilot2020.

The two winners will be presented with their awards at the Pilot Careers and Flight Training Seminar. The event will take place at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Glasgow Airport on Saturday 29th February.
