Jet2.com has contracted MPS to deliver a B737 NG FlightTraining Device (FTD) for its training centre in Leeds Bradford, UK.
The device will be used in Jet2.com’s type rating trainingprogram. It will include MPS’ training software and innovations. Theseinnovations allow Jet2.com to support many other training needs, such asinstructorless training, data gathering and use of MPS’ proprietary FDM replayfunction.
Jet2.com Head of Flight Crew Training Captain Andrew Wheelersaid, “The MPS FTD will not only increase our training capacity but also add anumber of new and alternative options to the way we train.”
