Airbus Services has launched a new Structure Training offer focusing on composite materials.
It said its tailored approach was in reaction to next-generation aircraft with advanced materials requiring new skills for damage assessment, inspection procedures and repair activities. The modular approach and learning path per job profile will begin on the A350 XWB with others included from 2020.
The A350 XWB features the latest aerodynamic design, carbon fibre fuselage and wings. At end of August 2019, Airbus had 913 firm orders for the A350 XWB from 51 customers. Some 300 aircraft are already in service worldwide.
