Avsoft-and-PICO

PICO d.o.o., anEASA Certified ATO based in Loce, Slovenia, has awarded a pilot training contractto Avsoft International.

PICO is using Avsoft’s A320 initial aircraft systems eLearning course for ground school theory pilot training. All modules and tailored exams from the initial course satisfy requirements for its A320 Type Rating training. The CAA of Slovenia have approved the course.

"We give our trainees one of the highest time of Full Flight Simulator training in the industry with emphasis on handling skills, IFR reinforcement, UPRT and PBN," PICO said in a statement.

"We are offering a complete training solution from ab-initio to A320 type rating by partnering with Slovenian Aeronautical Academy for ab-initio training."

Avsoft’s proprietary Learning Management System (AvLMS) will deliver the required training. It will also provide comprehensive reporting facilities to administer all aspects of pilot training and course structure.

It is the second Slovenian contract that Avsoft have secured in recent months.
