AXIS Flight Training Systems will install a Cessna Citation CJ1+ full flight simulator at Austria's Aviation Academy Simulation.

The Citation CJ1+ light business jet simulator will be EASA CS-FSTD(A) Level D certified, the highest industry standard for a FFS.

It replicates a standard Citation CJ1+ and features a Rockwell Collins avionics system, Pro Line 21, rehosted by AXIS. The device includes AXIS’ new Instructor Operating Station, equipped with a flight data recorder, as well as the company’s Technical Monitoring and Control System and upset prevention and recovery training.

"Our new business jet simulators... ensure maximum uptime for the simulator fleet," said Christian Theuermann, CEO, AXIS Flight Training Systems.

Founded in 2004, Austrian-based AXIS design and build a range of flight simulators and customisable training products. They will be exhibiting at EATS 2019 in Berlin from Oct 29-30.

Aviation Academy Simulation is a subsidiary of Aviation Academy Austria (AAA). AAA provides simulator dry-lease and a pilot-trainings for Cessna Citation C525, Citation XLS, ATR 42-320, ATR 72-500 and Fokker 70/100. All devices are qualified according EASA Level D standards.
