On the opening day of EATS 2019, CAE launched the Loganair Graduate Pilot Program andsigned a new three-year pilot training contract with the British airline.
"The launch of Loganair’s Graduate Pilot Program is a great opportunity for aspiring professional pilots," said Maurice Boyle, Loganair COO.
"We are giving pilots access to the highest standard of training from the very beginning of their flying career."
CAE is Loganair’s pilot training provider for Embraer ERJ145, SAAB 340 and SAAB 2000 and ATR 42/72 platforms.
"Training partnerships such as this one bring innovative pilot solutions to the industry," said Nick Leontidis, CAE’s Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions.
Loganair operates over 1,000 flights a week with a fleet of 44 aircraft ranging from eight to 50 passenger seats. Headquartered in Glasgow, it also operates Saab 340 and ATR 72 freighter aircraft.
Loganair is a codeshare partner of British Airways. It also has interline agreements with Qatar, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Air France and KLM.
