All student pilots and flight instructors at Leading Edge Aviation will wear A20 Aviation Headsets after the Oxford-based academy agreed a partnership with Bose.
The headset is among the lightest of all active noise cancelling headsets, allowing student pilots and their instructors to conduct training flights without distraction or discomfort from noise within the aircraft environment.
"Investing in exceptional headsets for our students and instructors is part of our commitment to excellence in training and our focus on wellbeing," said Andy McFarlane, Leading Edge Aviation CEO.
"It’s essential that pilots can communicate with great clarity during training, and, in the long term, we also know that pilots must protect their hearing."
Bose also struck a deal with Scotland-based ACS Flight Training to supply the headset at its facility in August.
