Malaysia's International Aero Training Academy (IATAC) has upgraded its Alsim simulator to include WAAS feature, PBN/LPV capabilities and Linux OS.

IATAC is based at Melaka Airport and had been operating with the AL42 simulator for more than eight years.

"IATAC opted for Alsim for its visual display and cockpit realism," said captain Chris Koh, Simulator Instructor.

"Alsim Simulator enables our cadets’ smooth transition from visual to instrument flight. The upgrading will give IATAC the edge over traditional training devices, bringing the Academy closer to a new generation of Flight training for pilots."
