Aviation Academy Austria (AAA)'s new CJ1+ full flight simulator has received successful certification.

The EASA Level D simulator is based at the AAA training facilities next to Vienna International Airport.

"Modernizing our Citation C525 training with this new state-of-the-art device will provide our customers the highest level of training," said Michael Holy, COO of AAA.

"Our team of instructors have now the perfect tool to provide type training on the most advanced technology."



The CJ1+ simulator is equipped with RSI XT5 visual system . It offers an extensive database of airports that meet the specific training needs of business jet operators in the region. The latest motion base model of Bosch/Rexroth eMotion-14000 ensures precise acceleration, soft transitions and minimum audible noise.

"Dry lease customers will have an easy-to-use instructor station and a variety of training scenarios, several special airports, realistically designed malfunctions and an enhanced ground and flight model," Holy added.

AAA's portfolio of EASA Level D qualified FFS includes a variety of solutions. These include ATR 42-300, ATR 72-500, ATR 72-600, Fokker 70/100, Cessna Citation 560 XLS/XLS+ and Cessna Citation C525/CJ1+.
