ACS Aviation has won an award for delivering advanced flight training at Perth Airport in Scotland. The success came in the Excellence in Business Innovation category at the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce 2019 Business Star Awards. The judges acknowledged that ACS Aviation have demonstrated impressive innovation, excellent customer service and a growing number of international customers.

ACS Aviation Managing Director, Graeme Frater highlights thesignificance of using modern flight simulators at the school: “The demand forpilots is rapidly increasing in the UK and Europe. Flight training is alsoevolving and there’s now a greater need for applications that offer totalimmersion and simulator devices that replicate the features and sensations of areal flight. Simulators are an essential component in the training ofprofessional pilots to teach them about the instruments they will use tonavigate and certain procedures they will encounter.”
In partnership with Scottish Enterprise, ACS Aviation hasbeen working closely with Skills Development Scotland and ScotGrad to developyoung people. In one of its latest initiatives, ACS Aviation has sponsored twoyoung pilots towards their Fight Instructor rating with the guarantee of apermanent contract once qualified.
