Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) and the Academy of the HEMS operator DRF Luftrettung are to present its new pilot training and further training program at the HAI Heli-Expo in California next month.

From August 2020, a full flight simulator level D will be available at Lufthansa Aviation Training’s training center in Frankfurt. The simulator is configurable for the Airbus-helicopter types H135 and H145 and certified by EASA.

The two companies said they will provide detail insights into the advantages of the simulator at the trade show.

"By investing in our first own helicopter simulator in our training fleet of over 55 full flight simulators, we are opening up to new markets," said Ola Hansson, Managing Director of Lufthansa Aviation Training.

HAI Heli-Expo takes place from January 28 to 30 in Anaheim, California, USA.
