Simtech Aviation has sold its ATR 72-500 simulator to Finnair.

The TRUSimulation + Training simulator is certified to Level D full motion by theIrish Aviation Authority and will be relocated to Finnair’s Training Base in Helsinkiin the coming weeks.

Simtech Aviation, in conjunction with Finnair and the manufacturer TRU Simulation + Training, completed a detailed technical flyout and review of all the documentation over two days.

“We aredelighted to have successfully passed Finnair’s technical requirements andwould like to compliment Finnair, TRU and Simtech Aviation’s Engineering Teamfor a successful outcome,” said Gerard Whelan, Managing Director, SimtechAviation.

The full flight simulatorjoined Simtech Aviation 10 years ago and has trained several internationalairlines for both Type Ratings and Recurrent Training.
