In an article by the Associated Press, Matthew Barakat reported on the humanitarian efforts of 16-year-old TJ Kim, who has flown medical supplies to rural hospitals in the wake of COVID-19. His first delivery was on March 27 to a 25-bed hospital in Luray, Virginia.

His most recent flight to a hospital in Winchester,Virginia, carried 3,000 gloves, 1,000 head covers, 500 shoe covers, 50 masks,20 pairs of protective eyewear and 10 hand sanitizer bottles.
