Incentives include discounted training rates, special offers from local restaurants and other businesses, automatic entry to win a free recurrent training course, and more. Industry-wide goodwill discounts on APS’s all-new Online Learning Center courses and webinars remain in effect through July 31, 2020.
In preparation for this month-long Grand Reopening Event, APS’s COVID-19 safety measures have been instituted and operationally tested and verified starting May 18, 2020, in accordance with all state, federal, and CDC best practices.
“We encourage pilots of all sectors of fixed-wing aviation to take advantage of these unprecedented COVID-19-inspired APS incentives. APS is doing its part to aggressively launch these creative initiatives to get pilots back in the cockpit during these extraordinary times,” said Paul Ransbury, CEO of APS. “We are thrilled to be flying again and recognize that UPRT knowledge and skills are more important than ever to re-invigorate manual handling and manual flight operations proficiency.” UPRT is an ideal way to take advantage of downtime, brush up on manual handling skills, and develop the critical skills necessary to handle an unexpected airplane upset event.
