Global Training Aviation’s A320 Level D full flight simulator (FFS), has been upgraded and has received the AESA UPRT High altitude stall event, full stall and icing certification according to CS-FSTD (A) issue 2. It has also been upgraded to version A320-232 (IAE).
The FFS is located in Madrid, Spain at GTA’s training centre.

This is the third GTA simulator with this certification, joining an A320 FFS at GTA Colombia, and a B737 FFS at GTA Spain. The company’s ATR 72-500 and ATR 72-600 are also scheduled to complete the certification.
Pilot training programs have been updated to include full UPRT requirements.
