Latvian airline airBaltic has established and received certification of its new Maintenance Training Organization, a part of airBaltic Training, to provide training and certification for aircraft technicians.

airBaltic Maintenance Training Organization will be divided in two categories, providing basic training for professionals without previous aviation experience and providing aircraft type-related training focusing on the Airbus A220.

The first two groups of students will begin familiarization training in early February. Each of the initial groups will have around eight students each. Experienced airBaltic technicians have been attracted to the program as the instructors.
