Halldale is pleased to confirm that WATS 2021 will take place in Orlando, Florida at our usual venue, The Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel, where we look forward to welcoming you on our new dates for 2021, the 15-16 June.

Our theme this year is “Forward Together”.

The World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) is the world’s largest gathering of aviation training professionals serving airlines, regulators, training providers and the training industry, designed by and for aviation professionals.  WATS offers a relaxed yet professional environment conducive to developing new and building existing business relationships. WATS has unrivalled opportunities to meet with your peers from the senior echelons of the international airline training community.  For those whose career takes them across the world to promote training solutions, WATS truly provides a huge saving in time and most importantly investment.

The opportunity to once again come together is something which our partners, customers, exhibitors and community have all expressed is high on their 2021 agenda, and with strong indication that air travel is forecasted to  take off again, we, as a training community, have much to discuss to ensure our pilots, cabin crew and maintenance teams are ready to go.  As the world starts to open up, we made the decision to move WATS back this year, ensuring as many of our global colleagues are able to join us at our 23rd world aviation training summit.  We anticipate this will be a highly popular event, based on an urgency and necessity to ensure all safety training is in place, however due to Covid we will have limited availability, so please book early and join over 700 industry professionals to learn, discuss and exchange views on the latest training practices and solutions.

Our number one priority is to ensure everyone’s safety, and we are pleased to confirm that the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel is accredited by the GBAC, the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, which provides the ultimate assurance that air quality, cleanliness and all other associated covid precautions are in place at the highest levels and I am delighted to also be able to tell you that Orlando International Airport (OIA) is already accredited.  Further details about covid assurance can be found on our dedicated WATS website:

The conference programme will be announced shortly with delegate registrations opening on 1st March 2021 which will include a special early bird rate available until 1st April 2021.  In the meantime if you would like to find out more about exhibiting or sponsoring the WATS 2021 event, then please get in touch with either Holly Foster (The Americas) or Jeremy Humphreys (Europe/Rest of World) who will be happy to discuss event and marketing options with you.  Further information can also be found here.

If you’d like to find out any further information, please visit our FAQ’s page or contact us at events@halldale.com

To reflect our new dates, we have extended the Call for Papers deadline until 19th February. Please send your submissions to Fiona Greenyer and Rick Adams.
