“In an airplane cockpit, there’s sometimes a lot going on, and it happens really fast when you’re traveling 500 miles an hour. So pilots have to be way ahead of the airplane. You must have already gone 50 miles ahead in your mind, because that’s where your airplane’s going to be in just a few minutes,” stated Hudson River landing pilot Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III on CNN’s Weekend Express program with Susan Hendricks.

Sully also commented on the importance of flight simulators in keeping pilot skills current and unique challenges of flight handling in the Covid-19 era.
