CAE has shown its backing for a live WATS 2021 (World Aviation Training Summit) by signing up as Diamond Sponsor of the world’s largest aviation training event.

The two-day live conference will return to the luxury Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida, on June 15-16, with pilots, cabin crew and maintenance staff all meeting in person and looking to move ‘Forward Together’.

Content will focus on training technologies, ‘best practice’ and ‘lessons learned’ that the industry has come to value from the WATS conferences, whilst the tradeshow and networking elements offer a much-needed boost for the industry to re-engage and conduct business in a face-to-face environment. WATS 2021, the 23rd edition of the event, will also provide international insights into the challenges and plans for recovery and return to growth following the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are also delighted to announce that FlightSafety International has signed up to be a Silver Sponsor of WATS 2021 with EPST & COMPASS having taken out a Bronze Sponsorship, reinforcing global industry support for this year’s event. If you are interested in joining them, please get in touch. The sponsors join a growing number of exhibitors who have also shown their enthusiasm to get back to face-to-face meetings by taking out booth space at WATS 2021. Our ever-growing exhibitor list can be found here.

Halldale is taking every precaution to ensure WATS 2021 can take place as safely as possible for all our attendees. Our trusted venue, Rosen Shingle Creek, has been awarded an esteemed accreditation by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council for its cleaning and disease prevention methods, ensuring all areas, from conference halls to private rooms, meet regulatory standards.

To further reassure attendees, the Biden administration states that that all adults will be eligible for vaccines in the US by April 19 2021.

A Fox Business survey, released last month, revealed that more than 60% of Americans say they will travel in the next three months. It added that the general sentiment of passengers seemed to be: ‘we will be cautious and careful, but we need to get out’. This is reflected by a number of airlines, such as Delta and American Airlines, announcing pilot hiring, an increase in bookings and growing consumer confidence.

Now is the right time to get back to meeting in person and addressing the current and future training issues affecting your business. Take advantage of early bird offers, pack your bag and let’s all move ‘Forward Together’ at WATS 2021!
