German aviation training organization Star Wings, has completed the implementation of FlightLogger's digital flight training platform.
It was an online demo of the FlightLogger solution that ignited the interest of Florian Steinhardt from Star Wings: “We knew FlightLogger a bit from another training organization where we had been using the built-in rental functionality as a renter. We liked that part a lot but seeing a demo of all the other features, how simple it was, and how well it fitted our daily operations quickly convinced us that FlightLogger would be a valuable tool for us. So, within a week or so my colleagues and I had made the decision to become FlightLogger partners.”
Even for FlightLogger standards, the implementation was carried out in good pace. Thanks to a great combination of German efficiency from Star Wing’s side and a well-proven onboarding procedure carried out by FlightLogger, configuring and finalizing a turnkey solution, including training manuals, users, aircraft and the required account-specific customization was done in less than two months, including the mandatory two days of training to get Star Wing’s personnel perfectly acquainted with the platform.
Star Wings is now the 7th FlightLogger partner in Germany, the 85th in Europe, and the 118th worldwide.
Star Wings Aviation Training Center GmbH operates from their facilities at the Dortmund Airport in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Offering a wide range of training programs that includes various type ratings, proficiency checks and instructor training programs, Star Wings prides itself on having the only Cessna Citation CJ3 full flight simulator in Europe.
