Avion Group unveiled Athens, Greece, as a new flight training centre location beginning early next year and featuring an A320 Level D full-flight simulator.

The leading Greek airline operators all have A320 family aircraft in their fleet, according to Erik Varwijk, CEO of the Dutch FFS manufacturer. Greece also has many training organizations providing A320 courses to pilots from Greece and abroad.

Varwijk added: "This development is in line with airlines' growing demand to train their crews at local hubs.” Avion currently operates flight training centers in Malta and London.
