Ryanair’s latest Wings ceremony consisted entirely of VA Airline Training cadet pilots. Each of the pilots had successfully completed the Ryanair Mentored Programme with VA and visited the airline’s Dublin, Ireland, headquarters for the officially ceremony to gain their wings.

Ryanair plans to recruit 2,000 new pilots over the next three years to fill positions created by new aircraft deliveries. The airline has an order for 210 new Boeing 737-8200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft, with the first of these delivered in June and six in service now.
