Thrust Flight Group, a professional flight academy based at Addison Airport, is opening another location at North Texas Regional Airport (GYI) in Denison, Texas.

This new facility will give them the capacity to take on even more airline career students in their Zero Time to Airline program. This location will also be home to their new accelerated multi-engine training program that can be completed in just three days.

“With the demand for airline pilots continuing to grow, we know we need to increase our capacity to train more pilots. We selected GYI for our second location because it’s a quiet but growing airport. There’s plenty of area to expand, it’s towered, and it will allow our students to jump right into maneuvers rather than fly out to training areas,” says Patrick Arnzen, CEO at Thrust Flight.

This new facility includes over 10,000 sq. feet of hangar and classroom space. It also includes a Frasca flight simulator with simulation for the Cessna 172 and Piper Seminole, large classroom space for ground schools and CFI academies, and a large hanger to house their growing fleet.

Over the course of the next year, Thrust Flight will take delivery of at least 14 new air-conditioned aircraft including Piper Archers and Cessna 172s.
