The European Cockpit Association (ECA) has opened the Pilots as Resource for System Resilience survey until 31 December, which aims to analyse pilots’ abilities to creatively cope with an ever-changing and potentially unfamiliar environment.
Questions will focus on technical and operational issues experienced by pilots, as well as interventions to reduce safety risks and hazards. Gathering the knowledge on this topic is essential in view of the emerging new philosophy for reducing pilot interventions in various phases of the flight.
