The EASA certified Dornier 328 Jet Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Level D is now operational at Simulator Training Solution GmbH (STS) in Germany and will be available for training from the 1st of December 2021 and onward. The simulator received its certification from the German Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt – LBA) on November 25th 2021.
Deutsche Aircraft GmbH is cooperating with STS GmbH, the operator of the Do328 Prop simulator, and now offers Do 328Jet training on a fixed rate per hour basis.
Dave Jackson, Managing Director of Deutsche Aircraft stated: “It is essential to keep our operators up to date with the latest safety requirements and training, and ensure their flight training even during the current COVID-19 situation regardless of their flying activity. Establishing the simulator in Germany, is a major step towards simplifying our activities and extending our service offering to our Dornier 328 operators.”
The simulator facility is located in Velbert/Essen, close to Düsseldorf as well as Cologne-Bonn airports.
