Paris Flight Training has become Advanced Simulation Technology inc. (ASTi)’s latest Simulated Environment for Realistic ATC (SERA) customer. Initially, entrol will integrate four SERA instances with their En-1000x simulators. entrol finished integrating SERA with their simulator architecture in December 2021.

Paris Flight Training plans to add additional Flight Training Devices (FTDs) equipped with SERA over the next year.

SERA, ASTi’s leading simulated air traffic control environment (SATCE) system, eliminates the need for an instructor to role-play air traffic control (ATC), ensuring consistent phraseology for ATC and all other traffic radio calls. It complies with the latest industry requirements for SATCE solutions. These requirements include the “Manual of Criteria for the Qualification of Flight Simulation Training Devices” (ICAO Doc. 9625, Ed. 4) and the updated ARINC Specification 439b.
