infoWERK Virtual Classroom 2.0 PRO has earned infoWERK the 2022 eLearning-Innovation award from the eLearning Journal, which awards current eLearning projects in 35 categories from Web-Based Trainings to Gamification with the yearly "eLearning AWARD”. The winning projects are published and presented in the eLearning Journal publication “Yearbook eLearning & knowledge management”. The eLearning Journal organizes a yearly award ceremony as part of its program in the eLearning focused area of the ‚didacta‘, the largest Education Trade Fair in Europe.
Virtual Classroom 2.0 is an EASA compliant digital instruction solution that enables live-teacher instruction from anywhere in the world. Users can choose between three versions, the Software only, the VC Basic and the VC Pro version. In all three systems the technology allows flexible and ad-hoc planning of training sessions and offers organisations a new and improved training solution for all current and future training needs. Lessons are tracked, thanks to the direct connection to either the infoWERK Learning Management System (LMS) or other LMS‘ (easy integration via SCORM packages).
infoWERK has also announced that most of its courses will now be available as competency based courses (CBT) too.
Each infoWERK CBT course will start with a knowledge review, which can only be visited once. Based on this assessment, non-mandatory content can be skipped. Even if a content is not mandatory, it can be reviewed any time by the user.
infoWERK is just developing another, significant elearning course for operators on Cosmic Radiation.
Cosmic ionizing radiation or short "Cosmic Radiation", is a form of ionizing radiation that comes from outer space. While even a very small amount of this radiation reaches the earth, radiation levels rise with higher altitude as well as at higher latitudes.
Therefore, on every flight, passengers as well as flight and cabin crews are exposed to cosmic ionizing radiation. Depending on altitude and route at various levels. infoWERK’s course will familiarize the student with the basics of cosmic ionizing radiation, the exposure level, effects on health as well as mitigating strategies.
The course will prospectively be available in April 2022.
